as you are aware Dr Blackerby of Tuskegee University said precisely that in his WELL-known book BLACKS IN BLUE & GRAY.

Actually, I have a copy of Blackerby's book in front of me right now. First edition. Copyright 1979. 138 pages, divided into a preface, four chapters, three appendix, abbreviations, and index. Chapters are titled "Blacks in Grey", "Blacks in Blue", "Blacks as Captors and Captives", and "Blacks in Grey Turning Blue". And I can state without any fear of contradiction that nowhere in that dull, boring little book does Blackerby claim that 150,000 free blacks served with the confederacy.
And I will correct you in another area. I don't believe Blackerby is a Ph.D. I haven't seen any biography that indicates he is. Nor have I seen anything that indicates he taught at Tuskegee or anywhere else. Nothing, literally nothing of what you say is correct.
