A 12-year-old 6th-grader in Hutchinson, Minn., committed to an unusually brave mission for the month of April: he intended to wear T-shirts with a pro-life message to his middle school every day for a month.
His courage, however, was met with resistance. According to the boy's attorney, his principal and teachers told him "not to wear the T-shirts, publicly singled him out for ridicule in front of his classmates, removed him from class, sent him to the principal's office, forced him to turn his pro-life T-shirt inside out, and threatened him with suspension if he did not stop wearing the offending pro-life T-shirts."
Over the course of his one-month quest, the boy, identified only as K.B., was reprimanded by the school a dozen times. (snip)
K.B. began his T-shirt mission in honor of April 29th being designated "National Pro-Life T-shirt Day" by the American Life League, a group that calls itself the "largest grassroots Catholic pro-life organization in the United States."

K.B. reported that he was first confronted on April 2nd by a teacher saying that the shirt "could be offensive." On April 4th he was sent to the principal's office because, his teacher said, the shirt was "inappropriate for class." In mid-April, K.B.'s mother reports, the school principal told her in a phone conversation that the shirts were forbidden because they had become a distraction and "some of the kids were starting to ask questions." On April 25th K.B. was threatened with in-school suspension.
When April 29th arrived, the day designated as "National Pro-Life T-shirt Day," the school principal called K.B.'s homeroom and ordered the boy to his office. "Why do you keep wearing those shirts when you know that they annoy me?" the principal allegedly asked.

Hell, they do already along with pro gay t-shirts.
I am too!
I suggest that every pro-life parent remove their child from government school. Then form political action groups that would elect officials **determined** to close these government school cesspools down!
Put the secular atheists running the government schools out of a job! Permanently!
Oh....I am sure to hear some whiner complain that some parents are too poor, or are divorced,...etc. OK! I agree. The way to do this is to form small mini-schools, one-room-school houses, dame schools, homeschool cooperates, tutoring, etc. If we **really** care about kids we would do this and pro-life people would fork out the charity needed to pay for the inexpensive costs of getting a disadvantaged kid out of these government cesspools.
Putting these secular, atheistic, Marxist teachers and principals out of job is the **best** way to fight back. ( And, rescue our kids, as well.)
Of course we don't comrade. That leads to them thinking for themselves and forming their own opinion.
Hm??....Do you think any Christian teacher in the government school cesspool stepped forward and vigorously argued for this child? I DOUBT IT! What weenies!
Any Christian teacher who ignored this incident, continues to ignore it, and quietly goes along to get along is teaching every child in the school that Christians are weak and timid weenies that care more about their paycheck than they do the TRUTH!
What student in the right mind would want to join a church filled with wimps!
Of course we don’t comrade.

You have it figured out.
Scratch a liberal and under his thin skin is a Marxist.
It is not a matter of Right v. Left and the tee-shirts they choose to wear but rather the disruption of the classroom that such shirts may cause.
No better way to trivialize an issue than to make it into slogans printed on children’s clothes and bumper-stickers. Those are the only ways the weak-minded can express themselves. By donning the thoughts and wit of others.
Still, sounds like the kid was within his rights.
The school violated its own stated policy. The teachers and the principal should be reprimanded for ignoring that policy and harassing the student. There doesn’t need to be any money involved. A simple front-page apology w/photo should be sufficient. Being humbled is good for the soul.
So would they ban a shirt that just had the word:
BANNED
on it? Or that word with a red line over it?
I am sure someone has thought of that one.
They are in school and have limited Free Speech just as most of us adults cannot go to work wearing a tee shirt with pictures of aborted babies or of dead American Troops in Iraq.
Actually, I was suggesting the content of the next t-shirt front.
I wonder if she wore a similar shirt to work every day in the month of April in support of her son, or did she send a 12 year old in as a pawn to proclaim her views while she wore 'appropriate' clothing to work?
Just a thought......
Pro-life alert
The Government Schools strike yet again!
Typical “open-minded” bigots.
