If you make it through the exaggerated oh-so-reverent slow drone of the first four minutes of scripture reading, it then descends into some sort of reading of an imagined letter from an African-American version of Moses, to Joshua. The gist of which is oppression by and then liberation from euro-whiteys. I didn’t see Obama in the audience, however.
Is that another variation on the “story” that Jesus and the Jews were oppressed by “white Europeans” in Rome, Italy?
