That’s the question I’ve had for the last 6 months! And then, who really wants to fly anyway. The service sucks, the help is hostile, the airports are ugly, crowded and downright dangerous, the racist goons they use for security hassle anyone lighter than Mohammed Ali, the food is over priced and it sucks as well.
It’s time to dump the airlines for short haul and bring back the trains. At least with trains you’ve got some breathing room.
Just so. I had to fly to at least one conference a year for about twenty years. What a pleasure it has been when I no longer had to fly. I won’t even get into the sad stories of delayed and cancelled flights, missed connections, lost luggage, shoe inspections, and the rest of it.
Trains are nice... they’re cheaper, train stations have more and better locations with less security, they’ve got more space, no assigned seating, etc. The only catch is, if you have problems with motion sickness, they’re worse than cars, and far, far worse than airplanes.
You must be fat. ;-)
