Attorney Margaret MarDee Xifaras has been ousted after 28 years from the states delegation to the Democratic National Committee by what one supporter describes as hard-core Hillary feminists upset with her endorsement of Sen. Barack Obama for president in a state that went for Sen. Clinton. ... After cheerfully saying, Im still standing, Mrs. Xifaras told The Standard-Times, It was interesting to watch because there was a fair amount of disconcert from friends, partly female friends, that I had chosen to support Obama. Susan Thomson, who until recently was the state partys executive director, campaigned to replace Mrs. Xifaras, and won a four-year term with the heavy majority of the female vote. ... Let me put it this way, he said. Among the Clinton supporters there was a sort of unwritten word that went out that said we elect our own, and the collateral damage on that was we dont vote Xifaras. He said that state Senate President Therese Murray, D-Plymouth, and former Sen. Lois G. Pines were at the meeting and have been very outspoken, each of them, about women who have not been supporting Hillary Clinton.
Would those "..partly female friends" have been hermaphrodites?
It figures that Murray has a hand in this.....
Hell hath no fury like a Hillary supporter scorned.
It’s going to get interesting tonight at Hitlery’ victory rally. Wonder what she’s going to say and how the crowd will react. GOD KNOWS I was hoping for an early christmas gift in Denver. OH phooey!
Once worked for 5 years in a small company where the 4 people ahead of me were all flaming liberals. They did not know that I am a flaming conservative until a co-worker spilled the beans in the 4th year.
Better to take the politics out of it.
Well this was a political "job" she lost -- the Democratic State committee national panel, to be exact. It's kind of hard to take the politics out of politics.
Imagine that... Go out of your way to support a candidate the voter base is opposed to, and then be surprised when they oust you.
Shocking. Just shocking.
A purge of an Obama supporter. In Massachusetts. My, my.
I heard that Hillary said she needs “some space” and time alone to figure out what she will do.
All I could envision was Hillary alone in a room with enough space to hurl a few lamps etc. LOL.
