Oh and besides all the lib zanyness, I love SF.

I suppose somebody has to!! Actually, I guess I sort-of like it too. However, the libs out here drive me up a wall (totally, dude!!). I read somewhere that SF used to be a fairly Conservative city right up through the 1950's. Something went HORRIBLY wrong in the 1960's. If SF were a Conservative city, it would be one of the best places in the world to live. Instead, it is one of the worst. Such a pity, what a waste. I wish we could take the people of West Michigan and transplant them into SF, and take the libs in SF and transplant them....... well, somewhere far away from the United States!!

SF started to go wrong in the early 1900's when they voted to build the Municipal Railway, intended to drive out the private companies. It took 40 years, but they succeeded.

Now I like Muni, but it came at the expense of stealing private property, and started with a twisted sense of entitlement dating back, like I said to the populism of the 1900's.

Maybe from all the broke prospectors robbed by big business back then? Who can say.
