OR — he could wear a sign that says, ‘allergic to peanuts.’ Or even — she could be a hands-on mother. duh.
Or they could take a train.
I was at a social gathering recently where one of the mothers claimed her children were allergic to peanuts. I had seen two of the three kids eat a handful of peanuts. They ran around normally all night. My conclusion was that the mother with the three allergic kids is trying to impose her will on everyone else...or maybe she only has one allergic kid and is completely innumerate.
Great way to get a couple mil out of a stone.
Or she could have just said “no thank you,” which is the same thing diabetics say when candy or other sweets containing sugar are offered. Why should an airline stop serving an item just because one or two people can’t eat it.
The woman asked and was told that peanuts would not be served. What else do you think she could have done? Her only other choice is never to allow her child on an airplane just in case the flight attendants serve peanuts. Is that what you think she should do?
My little girl is allergic to peanuts also.
We took a flight last year and I had to save her from the peanuts - I ate them, and a couple of extra packs also.
