In the mid-90’s the voters of California tried to get a hand on illegal immigration. They voted upwards of 60% to deny benefits to illegals. One judge shot it down saying it was unconstitutional and Gray Davis would not pursue it. Since then California has bleed thousands, if not millions, of productive citizens. Unfortunately too many of them brought their voting habits with them to their new states. Some never learn.
