Apparently, if the tape ever comes to light, her words will sound something like:
Whitey cut folks off Medicaid? Whitey let New Orleans drown? Whitey do nothing nothing about Jena? Whitey put us in Iraq for no reason?
... when the intended message is,
Why'd he cut folks off Medicaid? Why'd he let New Orleans drown? Why'd he do nothing about Jena? Why'd he put us in Iraq for no reason?
Or so we will be told...

Problem is, is that we have heard Rev. Wright say US of KKKa.
Rev. Pfleger - close friend of Obama and an Obama spiritual advisor since 2004 - brought up white supremacy from the pulpit in his rant against Hillary.
Louis Farrakhan was given a lifetime achievement award from TUCC, and he is a notorious racist.
Rev. James Meeks - close friend of Obama and an Obama spiritual advisor - in a YouTube video entitled "Another one of Obama's Friends - Chicago Reverend Meeks" insulted the white mayor and white governor, calling them slave owners.
Michelle Obama, if she did indeed say whitey... her words would go right along with what has been said at TUCC, who has been awarded by TUCC, and from Obama's friends and advisors.

Whether any such tape exists or not, the problem she’s got is that the story is believable.

What is the pronoun antecedent? That’s what would answer if this makes sense to say that it’s about, say, George Bush or if it’s about all whites.

FWIW, I say:
a) I hope the tape exists... when it’s produced, the results will be brutal and effective. But...
b) until the tape is produced, it’s all speculation and manufactured news.

Did you hear him? He said “Jew eat?”, not “did you eat”, but “Jew eat”.

I'm saying the existance of the tape is believable, which makes the rumor damaging even if there is no tape. It demonstrates that it's not far-fetched at all.
As for its existance, I'll believe it when I see it. I think people who want the tape to be damaging to Obama should lay off the "whitey" aspect until such time it's proved. The content of her remarks will do plenty on their own, with or without racial slurs.

No, until the tape is released it is neither hooey nor the opposite of that.
Speculation? Sure.
But we must be prepared for any possible spin from Obama and his cronies.

It doesn't matter. The GIST of her comments is that Bush "let children drown." Utterly offensive and ridiculous. It's not whether she used the term "whitey," which I doubt she did. It's WHO SHE'S ON STAGE WITH AGREEING WITH---Farrakhan.
Look, folks, this is real simple: if this wasn't damaging, the Obama campaign would have gotten this out weeks ago. There is something big in this, I'm betting.

Exactly unless it is a very limited clip from say a cell phone, we will know exactly what she meant by context.

Of course in the same rumored tape, Michelle starts off with “the White Man has let us down.” Therefore, regardless of whether she’s saying “Whitey” or “why’d he” she’s making a racist statement.

Not American here, but are they saying a wealthy, Princeton-educated person, has a gutteral “black accent” merely because she is black?
Sorry, don’t believe it, and the implication seem rascist.
Mrs. Obama wasn’t raised in the ghetto, and unless she has adopted the affectation of a ghetto accent, this is not believeable.

This is a Hahvahhhd educated lawyer, who knows that words mean things. She may fall back in ghetto-gutter slang when hangin' out wit her peeps, and perhaps this is what happened. Perhaps.
But I don't think Aunt Esther would approve.
