People say a lot of things when they’re mad. We’ll see if they actually follow through in November. My guess is most of them will return to the Democratic fold, just like most Republicans will end up voting for McCain once they’re finished letting off steam.

True, but I’m hoping McCain holds some appeal for the unhappy Dems with his “maverick” image and his (unpleasant) stands on some issues (immigration, Guantanamo. . .)
