Trinity Church and Rev. Wright have forgotten the lesson of the ancient Israelites when Moses led them out of the wilderness. Instead of being grateful and thanking God for His blessings they focused on complaining, moaning and victimization. God set them free but they chose to remain negative and ungrateful and so they wandered in the wilderness 40 years longer than necessary.

The database covers all grants and contracts for fiscal years 2000-2007 and is a great resource. According to the search, TUCC received its last grant in FY2001, for $150,000 under a program to “Improve the Health Status of Minority Populations”.
After 2001, the grants apparently stopped, which might also explain some of the hostility Wright felt for the federal government.”
So...now the truth is known, but this liberal commie writer just had to bring up ‘Faith based Initiatives’ from the Bush Administration (which was not even passed when the church got it’s last grant)
