From Associated Press RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Hillary Rodham Clinton will give her post-primary speech in New York Tuesday night, a rare departure from the campaign trail. Staffers who have worked for her on he ground in Puerto Rico, South Dakota and Montana have been invited to attend the event or go home for further instructions, campaign aides said. The New York senator had no other events Tuesday. She planned to address AIPAC Wednesday in Washington.
From "The Atlantic" Clinton Campaign staffers and former campaign staffers are being urged by the Clinton campaign's finance department to turn in their outstanding expense receipts by the end of the week. That's a sign, to them, that the campaign wants to get its affairs in order soon. If Clinton were staying in the race, there'd be no real reason to collect these receipts now; she'd still be raising and spending money from the same primary campaign account. The campaign is in arrears to the tune of about $11 million.

"The former first lady's campaign announced that she would hold an election night "celebration" in her home state of New York, not in the final voting states of Montana or South Dakota."
The Politico website reported that far-flung members of Clinton's travelling staff had been summoned back to New York for Tuesday evening and told their roles on the campaign are ending.

Darn. I wanted this to go on until the convention. But at least now McCain can (hopefully) grow a pair and show America who Obama is.

Of course the staffers, campaigners and so on are not needed after Tuesday because there are no more primaries after Tuesday. After Tuesday it’s the army of lawyers who will be doing her work.
Gads, wouldn’t it be hysterical if she calls everyone back home, floats the rumor that it’s going to be a concession speech, then plays the Michelle Obama tape?

Two things: interesting that they referred to her as “former first lady” and not Senator Clintoon. and second, if she were returning to her home state - that would be ILLINOIS!! Not my great state of New York. That sentance should read: “she will be carpet bagging back to New York.”

I was thinking pretty much the same thing. I was thinking they're trying to keep Clinton voters from turning out at the poles. If we're right, maybe Obama's not doing as well right now in the last two states as the msm would like us to believe?
Hype the concession speech and then Arkancide. Ex-police captain Moose will blame it on “Angry White Male syndrome” (aka right win fanatic). Hillary will be deeply saddened but will come back and fight on for Obama while wearing only black pant suits from now on. But wait... Michelle Obama will claim all of the delegates for herself and thus become the Dem’s nominee.
