RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Hillary Rodham Clinton will give her post-primary speech in New York Tuesday night, a rare departure from the campaign trail. Staffers who have worked for her on he ground in Puerto Rico, South Dakota and Montana have been invited to attend the event or go home for further instructions, campaign aides said. The New York senator had no other events Tuesday. She planned to address AIPAC Wednesday in Washington.
But she is under increasing pressure to cede the Democratic nomination to Barack Obama after the final primaries. There was a sense of denouement in the campaign. She planned to rally with husband and former President Clinton and their daughter Chelsea in South Dakota Monday nighta reunion usually reserved for election nights.
First things first: that check from Obama’s campaign (to cover Hillary’s campaign debt) has to clear first.
I’m hoping her speech is one word...
NUTS!
Harold Icky said she reserves the right to challenge Saturday’s DNC gang-rape at the Convention.
denouement:
to untie
1 : the final outcome of the main dramatic complication in a literary work
2 : the outcome of a complex sequence of events
I’ll say...
Clinton Clue: Staffers Urged To Turn In Receipts
02 Jun 2008 12:42 pm
Clinton Campaign staffers and former campaign staffers are being urged by the Clinton campaign’s finance department to turn in their outstanding expense receipts by the end of the week. That’s a sign, to them, that the campaign wants to get its affairs in order soon. If Clinton were staying in the race, there’d be no real reason to collect these receipts now; she’d still be raising and spending money from the same primary campaign account. The campaign is in arrears to the tune of about $11 million.

And don't count on your last paycheck clearing anytime soon.
Good find, Cr! Keep up the good work (especially for those of us who are cube-bound)!
the world’s most intelligent woman is a
loser.
It would be funny if she is giving her speech Tuesday night, and then Obama starts speaking where he is, and CNN and Fox and everyone cut away from Hillary to hear Obama’s comments live instead.
Obama may be able to claim he has clinched the nomination Tuesday night, if enough supers come over to him to add to what he earns in Montana and South Dakota that day.
I wonder if Hillary will say anything can happen in the month of June, and that we really don’t know the number of delegates that will be needed and all that crap all over again.
Because Americans are tired of the Clintons and what they stand for!
***Why would she quit?
BHO and HRC are virtually tied, why doesn’t he quit?***
Yep, the campaign is broke. Will these people get their money? I hope they do.
In fact with a campaign in debt, Hillary’s loan to the campaign is a huge expense to the campaign. Would Hillary put priority on paying herself back instead of paying the expense reports and paychecks of her staff?
Nah. She hasn't even retreated into the bunker yet.
Is she going to be showing any videos?
That I know.
What I am having trouble figuring out is why the clamor from the dems that she quit and not him. The two have them have nearly split the dems in half.
Two more candidates and the dems would have been drawn and quartered.
I live in South Dakota which holds their primary tomorrow. Anyway, during rush hour this am on one of the busiest intersections in Rapid City, there were approximately 5 to 6 Hillary supporters with signs. One sign said “HONK IF YOU ARE VOTING FOR HILLARY”....well, I only heard one very lonely honk.
That one honk was from an Obomba! supporter, trying to give his opposition a false sense of security.
