The only “point of Kyoto” was to damage the US economy by transferring our wealth to the 3rd world. Germany insisted the base year be 1990 with good reason. They knew if they got rid of the pollution spewing plants in the DDR they could emit “greenhouse gasses” at will. The whole global warming scam was started by a Canadian Marxist by the name of Maurice Strong, who even though he made millions as a capitalist, hates capitalism and especially the US. I was stationed in Germany for 2 years. There are huge differences between our countries. Mainly, the availability of public transportation. The US is a much larger country and we need our cars to live, I never had a car the years I was in Germany. From reading your comments, the propaganda in Europe is working.

I never wrote anything about cars in my post and I challenge you to prove otherwise.

In terms of “Americans needing their cars to live”, that is BS. The United States existed for nearly 200 years without cars. The US built its current way of life based on the automobile and cheap oil.

Choices were made and now you live with the consequences.

The layout of cities in the US could and would be much different under different circumstances.

Your myopia is astounding considering you have experience living in a different country.
