the top Air Force commander in the Pacific today has his headquarters in a building that served as barracks for Army airmen in 1941. Bullet holes left by Japanese machine guns are still visible on the outside of the structure's concrete walls.I would hope that remains. Sometimes we need reminded that bullets were fired in anger.

They can use the brass from all the Confederate memorials the sensitive folks are trying to tear down around the South for the new Pearl Harbor plaques and memorials.
Heck, within 50 years they can salvage what’s left of the Alamo when it’s converted into Santa Anna Memorial Park.
