"Including references to "Whitey".

I am SHOCKED!

"My experiences (sic) at Princeton have made me far more aware of my 'blackness' (sic) than ever before. These experiences have made it apparent to me that the path I have chosen to follow by attending Princeton will likely lead to my further integration and/or assimilation into a White cultural and social structure that (sic) will only allow me to remain on the periphery of society; never becoming a full participant. This realization has presently, (sic) made my goals to actively utilize my resources to benefit the Black community more desirable.""

Oy, am I reading this thesis thing right? The gist of it seems to be a study on whether black Princeton attendees, upon being exposed to upper-class whites, lose their “blackness” ?
i.e. they become upwardly mobile, seek jobs and careers and so on.
