I used to live on Aqua Vista, just off of Vineland and could see U.S. from there.
My old stomping grounds until about 8 years ago when I moved here to Vegas

P.S. Hold on, if the posts here are anything like the ones on the earlier threads, well you’ll be a bit surprised.

not everyone who is in Hollywood is a liberal. there are a lot of conservative families trying to make a living here. Just cause we don’t get in front of a camera doesn’t mean we don’t exist.

That's true. We have a friend who does special effects on movies like the new Star Trek and the new Terminator. During the strike, the family could barely make ends meet.

I know what you mean. I grew up in the valley, in fact I went to N. Hollywood High.
It’s unfortunate California carries such a bad reputation (political), though a lot of it is deserved. One of the reasons I left by the way.

Cultural history is being lost, whether you like film or TV or not.

Cultural history is being lost, whether you like film or TV or not. I'm not too worried, I sure some of the things may be lost, but the videos will live on forever. I guess I also think cultural history may not be all good. I personally would cheer if a porno film set burned to the ground.

Well, yes.
But this was the “Back to the Future” set. Fun stuff, the kind of movie we need more of.

Didn’t the original Back To The Future “Hill Valley” set burn a few years ago as a result of arson?

I’ll bet they make a movie out of this...
