In a painful episode of his quest for the White House, likely Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama said Saturday his family withdrew their membership at Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ.
The damage control came as his church -- and controversial sermons from the Trinity pulpit -- were increasingly becoming a target that threatened Obama's presidential bid.
A source in the Obama campaign said Obama had been having conversations with Moss for weeks over his concerns that the scrutiny the church was experiencing because of his candidacy was causing problems -- and that Trinity should not provide a platform for inflammatory rhetoric, which is exactly what happened last Sunday.

After Father Pfleger's rant last Sunday at Trinity, this is what the 'wonderful young pastor' Otis Moss said..... "We thank God for the message, and we thank God for the messenger. We thank God for Father Michael Pfleger, we thank God for Father Mike,"
It seems the Messiah, who has run his own campaigned based on his superior intellect and judgement, does not have either. He is a traveler who will say and do anything, including throwing his own grandmother under the bus. in order to get elected POTUS.

It certainly looks as tho that church leadership is going out of its way to sabotage ol’ Barry.
Interesting message they are sending.
“I made it clear at the time that I strongly condemned his comments,” Obama said. “But because Rev. Wright was on the verge of retirement, and because of my strong links to the Trinity faith community, where I married my wife and where my daughters were baptized, I did not think it appropriate to leave the church.”
The senator said that with Wright’s retirement – he preached his final sermon last month – and the “ascension of my new pastor, Rev. Otis Moss, III, Michelle and I look forward to continuing a relationship with a church that has done so much good.”
In his historic speech on race, Obama said heo could not disavow Rev. Wright. Since that speech, Obama threw Rev. Wright, Fr. Pfleger, and Trinity United under the bus. Rev. Wright is correct about Obama. He’s a typical politican.
Well yeah, churches like this one are gold mines for ambitious con artists like Wright, Moss, etc. And they love useful idiots like Pfleger, whom they can take out and play with when they want some variety.
Oh but as Obama says” REPORTERS HOUNDED TRINITY SHUT-INS...
so the Pied Piper BHO will still keeps his followers.

The leadership is made up of actors/performers/entertainers, who use the pulpit as a way to rob people. They live extravagantly, getting their money from what is given to the church. They actually steal from the church to maintain their life style, and they do it with the blessings and knowledge of the church members.
i think Obama’s problems will continue - didn’t i read he is responsible for a $100,000 earmark for something Pfleger is involved with? the plot thickens......
Let’s hope Obama doesn’t find a church where the congregation gets up and claps, stomps and yells at every anti-white/anti-American rant that comes from the pulpit. This is where you sat for 20 years. Did you stomp, yell and clap??

Rev. Moss did not listen to Obambi because he was following a higher calling: fame, fortune, and radical ideology. TUCC does not need Obambi anymore, they have gotten as much out of the relationship as they are going to — now they would have to knuckle under to the needs of Barry’s political life or else strike out on their own to continue to promote the most racist and divisive agenda in the country. They chose the latter with their eyes wide open, I’m sure. Forget about the Obamanation when pure Afro-centric radical ideology is involved. They are after bigger things than promoting the Obambi presidency.
Rev. Mosss and his parishioners don't think they provided a platform for anything inflammatory! They were laughing and clapping along.
No one talks about how offensive that was.
Rev. Moss is only carrying on with typical Sunday services. There is no denying the majority of the church was very excited about Pfleger's "message." Moss is giving them what they're used to and what they want to continue hearing.
Why does Obama's leaving the church personally upset you, anyway?
