Sen. Marzilli has checked himself into McLean Hospital in
Belmont. Lord, he’s seen fire, and he’s seen rain (I
think James Taylor spent a little time there)

The gropes of wrath: Another solon’s slip
By Howie Carr | Friday, June 6, 2008 | http://www.bostonherald.com

And so the reputed moonbat masher, Sen. Jim Marzilli, pulls an even quicker Eliot Spitzer than Eliot Spitzer himself. Doesn’t quit - wants to get that one day on the payroll in 2009 for the extra year on his pension. But he won’t seek re-election.

As always, the dodgy pol is retiring due to ill health. The voters got sick of him. And sure enough, a couple of hours after doing the Spitzer, Marzilli took the logical next step. He checked himself into a booby hatch, McLean Hospital.

Repeat after me, Senator: “One grope is too many, and a thousand are not enough.”

Perhaps the socialist solon can write a book about his affliction and promote it on “Oprah.” Suggested title: “The Audacity of Grope.”

You know that Marzilli’s amen chorus, the Arlington moonbats, are blaming the vast right-wing conspiracy for their hero’s downfall. Weeping bitter tears into their lattes, they’re still saying the lewd dude’s pinch is a “tragedy,” and indeed it is. It’s tragic that the foot chase through the garage, after he gave the false name, did not end in a Tasering of the Senate chairman of the Joint Committee on Tourism, Arts and Cultural Development.

Usually it takes two or three terms in the Senate before they slap on the handcuffs and read you your Miranda rights. Marzilli sets a new record here - six months in, and now he’s on his way out.

Marzilli apparently misread his Karl Marx. When Marx said “communal property,” he wasn’t including women sitting on park benches. A real Socialist wants to control the means of production, not the means of reproduction.

Poor Jim. Now he’ll never get to vote on those really big issues that mean so very much to his constituents - banning trans-fats, approving the funding for sex-change operations in state prisons, signing an arrest warrant for Dick Cheney, etc.

But let’s look on the bright side, Sen. Grope-zilla - at least you were carbon-neutral yesterday.

Looking ahead, to a possible prison sentence, Sen. Marzilli should consider another happy thought. When you’re in the can, your carbon footprint is practically zero. Five years at Cedar Junction - it might save a polar bear’s ice floe.

Another upside: By his own admission, Marzilli likes to “flirt.” Soon, at the Graybar Hotel, he may be “flirting” with a whole new group of people, most of whom will be named Bubba.

Given how many women have now stepped forward to claim he attacked them, Marzilli should be in jail this morning, not a hospital. But again, he got lucky - he drew Judge Neil “Let ’em Walk” Walker, a former public defender and parking-lot attendant appointed by M. Stanley Dukakis.

Did you read the Lowell police reports, about how one of the victims was Hispanic, and the other one said she’d seen “this same male last week wearing dirty clothes and he looked unkempt and possibly homeless.”

Several hours before the Lowell PD reports were even made public, at the State House at least, one of Marzilli’s colleagues was telling people that he too had bumped into Marzilli recently in his district, in a heavily illegal-alien neighborhood, and that Marzilli was dressed as a bum.

This guy recognized the lewd and lascivious limousine liberal and pulled his car over and asked Marzilli what the hell he was doing there. According to the story being told yesterday, Marzilli told the guy he was picking up his wife at the airport, and that her plane was late, so he had just decided to check out the sights, such as they were.

What will he do, after his case is broomed (again)? Well, he maxed out to Gov. Deval Patrick’s campaign, and he is a (nonpracticing) lawyer, so I’d say a state judgeship could definitely be in the works. Or he could become a DPW drawbridge operator.

Or he could ask the eternal question all disgraced, talentless pols eventually pose:

Is WRKO hiring?

I could care less about the Moonbat Marzilli.
I was talking about Ogonowski’s campaign.
