May 2008 had the lowest number of American casualties in Iraq, for any month since the start of the war. http://icasualties.org/oif/
For the next lowest month for casualties you have to go all the way back to February 2004.

Shhhhh.....we can’t talk about good news in the war on terror.
AP reported this, but they had to use a headline which included: “, But Will It Last?”
Thus proving once more that they are not much better than slimeballs.
Oh, look - a pig just flew by my window...
Who decided to release this incredible news on a Saturday night?
I thought Scott McClellan quit two years ago?
The ghoul had probably been waiting weeks for a good opportunity like that in the middle of reports like these.
This is the last thing the MSM wants to report.
Damn, we lost 126 people last May, 19 this May.
The surge couldn’t work according to Obama. Guess we can than the Iranians according to Pelosi
Shhhhh.....we cant talk about good news in the war on terror.
Of course we can!! The MSM will be reporting this any minute now......any minute, now.......um, hello??
Thanks for posting this, the best news in 5 years, for Iraq, the US, and my nephew who is an Army Ranger. Also, no hostile casualties in a full week. In Mexico, 190 police offices were killed last year in clashes with drug cartels. No one says Mexico is in a civil war.
This is an unpopular proposal but we should send a couple thousands of Marines to crush the drug cartels in Mexico. I mean we know where they are. They control entire provinces and their headquarters are not exactly a secret.
