XP goes bye-bye by the end of July. The last day Dell will take orders for an XP machine is 18 Jun 08.

What a coincidence! That also is the last day I will ever order a PC from Dell!

you are missing out. I bought a higher end 1525 Dell to upgrade from an older inspiron 1000.

Vista works just fine and the machine is fast.
