CHICAGO - Sen. Barack Obama sought Thursday night to extinguish a burgeoning controversy over another Chicago minister who supports him, denouncing the comments of a Catholic priest who said “a whole lot of white people [are] crying” because a black man was within reach of the Democratic presidential nomination.
The remarks by the Rev. Michael Pfleger, a white minister known as “Chicago’s renegade priest” for his liberal social activism in the city’s black community, came from the pulpit of Trinity United Church of Christ, the same church where sermons by the Rev. Jeremiah Wright came under scrutiny from critics who called them anti-American and racially divisive.
Pfleger, pastor of predominantly black St. Sabina’s Catholic Church, who fiercely defended Wright even as Obama eventually rejected his support, sounded similar themes Sunday in a guest sermon at Wright’s church.

Is there a Michelle Obama tape. I would think that Hilary would have used it by now if it was there. Maybe she is waiting for this weekend or just prior to the DemaRAT convention if she can hold out long enough. Evidently it does not exist as she would have launched it after the May 25th ranting of The Rev. Michael Pfleger mocking of the Clinton’s.
Can you imagine if that was a McCain supporter doing that in a normal church.
Obama needs to announce today that he has left the Trinity Christian Church. If he does not leave he is cooked. These are wonderful sound bite for the general election.

First he picks a black-power, black muslim, abortion loving preacher, then when that guy retires, his “church” replaces him with a clone from the same mold. Then he reaches out to a dissident, moonbat Catholic priest, who should have been defrocked years ago, if his bishops had had the guts to do their jobs.
Those are just his clerical friends and advisers.

What about the congregation’s reactions to these pastors. Standing up a applauding and laughing at what these nuts are saying. In my humble opinion you have to be a racist to belong to this church.
