I think the policy violates the ADA because it discriminates against boozers.

You can no longer bring in cheap duty-free booze if you have a connecting domestic flight, because the only way to do that is to risk breakage in your checked bags.

Think I have a good case?

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I can tell that most of you didn't read what I posted, but that's OK. I still think the policy discriminates women, who have to check their bag because their stuff won't fit into a little quart bag, versus men who don't bring hardly anything. And yes, my husband does take little bottles of shampoo and cream rinse, so he doesn't have to smell like the flowery stuff the hotels provide.

My point is, why couldn't the airlines just have raised the price of everyone's fare $10. It would have accomplished the same thing and have been really less aggravating.
