It’s just amazing. He tells everyone how awful we are. He promises that if he’s elected, we’ll go hungry, be uncomfortable in our homes and not be able to commute by a choice of our own. Yet half of this country is rooting for all that.
I suppose they believe, as always with socialists, that they’ll be more equal than the rest of us and think only republicans will suffer.

Or maybe they just believe that we will all be equally miserable, which is the main goal of the marxists, anyway.
This is the key word: BELIEVE
He is appealing to magical thinkers. He is our first presidential candidate whose entire education has not been touched with any patriotic information. The young voters who are inspired by him, have been educatied mainly by teachers who have the same worldview as Obama.
They also are very deficient in internal feelings of patriotism. They have been taught simoltaneously that America is the problem and government is the answer to problems ---- and they BELIEVE both ideas simoltaneously. The only way they can hold these thoughts is to transfer every negative to Republicans and positive to Democrats. So, facts do not matter! Feelings trump facts, and these voters are being appealed to totally on their feelings.
The words that these followers like after BELIEVE are
TRUST
ASK
RECEIVE.
How sweet and simple!
