Ditto. He is quite bad on some issues, but he isn't significantly different from President Bush. Anyway he is infinitely better than Obama or any other Dem. That's the minimum requirement and McCain fits that. He'll make a decent President with whom we won't agree 100% at all times, but that's also not different from Bush or even Reagan for that matter.

I am voting for McCain as well, not happily but I'm voting. No one ever mentions what it would have been like if Bush 1 had beaten clinton and then if Bob Dole had beaten clinton the next election. Neither of those Republican candidates were terribly conservative but our country would not have had 8 years of clinton liberalism and looking like we might get 4/8 more. Thanks again Perot and your stupid ‘volunteers”!
