By legalizing the embedded illegals, whatever their numbers, the US will suffer from a massive inflow of additional immigrants. Through the US policy of family reunification or chain migration, each of the new citizens will be able to legally sponsor their family members to come into the US to begin the process of naturalization. Upon naturalization, those new citizens could do likewise. McLame knows this. He knows the result of his advocacy means somewhere in excess of 50 million eventual new citizens through his proposed “humane amnesty. “

I will not say NEVER when it comes to voting for McCain, but I would not vote for him if the election were today. I don't see how he will convince me from now until November either, since he will continue to lurch left as the days get close to the election.

If this idiot can’t see that the majority of Americans DON’T WANT ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS GRANTED AMNESTY then he does not deserve the Presidency.
CP is looking better and better.
McLame, textbook RINO.

I'm still struggling with this election. Every time I think I might be able to give this man my vote (notice I didn't say vote for) something like this rears its ugly head....againMe too, man, me too.
If the damn Rats would ever nominate someone who wasn't a hard core Stalinist who I fear would destroy the country, it would be easy to go 3rd party.

McQueeg is hellbent on ensuring his own defeat. Conservatives may just vote to assure a congress that’s got enough GOP members in it so there is gridlock and let Obama beat McCain.

Face it, most of the politicians in D.C. care more for Mexicans than they do American citizens. McCain will never get my vote. I also left the Republican party right after the last amnesty fiasco. I am a registered Independent.

Greece has done TWO amnestys for illegals. The reason for the second was the flood of illegals AFTER THE FIRST AMNESTY.
This is 1986 all over again.
Much of this is to UNDO THE RESTRICTIONS PUT FORTH IN 1996.
(ie rolling amnesty went from 6 years to 10 years. Ted Kennedy HATED that one specifically)

What are the possibilities that the GOP conservative members (there are still a few left) and those who may be willing to grow into that description would fight to the bitter end an Obama amnesty proposal whereas they may not do that for RINO McCain? In this respect, would electing Obama be the best thing? (Right now, I'm leaning toward voting for the CP candidate, too.)
I am weighing this question seriously and would love to hear others' opinions on the merits because of all the liberal positions McCain has taken, his amnesty & God's children remarks have angered me most of all.

Time for Operation Chaos at the Republican convention! We need to have the delegates dump McCain and draft Fred Thompson as President and Mitt Romney as VP!
To: T.L.Sink
But McCain's decision to reintroduce comprehensive immigration reform to the presidential debate after securing the GOP nomination has raised concerns the Arizona senator is returning to his amnesty roots.
Yes, indeed. My concerns were expressed with a copy of the McCain Peso some clever person concocted and posted here. I sent it back in the postage paid envelope that McCain sent me with a letter looking for money.
I skimmed the letter...I don't think I saw the word 'immigration' in it.
It might be juvenile to some...but I know of no other effective way to get McCain's attention except by hitting him in the wallet.

Challenging the credentials of the McCain delegates at the convention is probably the only chance there is of stopping these Rockefeller socialists.

I will never vote for this man. Consider pulling the lever for an alternate party candidate instead of doing a write in. At least this way your vote will go towards the growing protest vote against the current marginally diversified one party socialist candidates and count for more than the write in which isn't even counted nor scored in the final tally. Make your vote count for something.
