It was 52% - 43% when I posted this thread. Our conservative superhero, Tom McClintock, was trailing Doug Ose.

Ose's ran a nasty nasty nasty campaign. He's a millionaire and so has largely self-funded (which is fine by me) and used the money to smear McClintock (who is funded by the donations of THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of conservative everyday Americans).

I hope the right man wins in this case. Doug Ose isn't a horrible human being. However, as a politician he is a self-serving, RINO, who plays to the establishment for ego and vanity... whether that means he has to be moderate or liberal at times.

He'd be the wrong kind of Republican to elect at a time when our leaders have betrayed the base on serveral issues.
