The former Bush administration pitchman making explosive election-year charges about how the White House handled the Valerie Plame case and built the case for invading Iraq said Thursday that he went to Washington to change it and became disillusioned when he realized he was just a pawn in the never-ending political game.

Pretty funny. Just the yesterday on another thread I said to look for the David Brock connection.
If it were my call, Snott would spend the rest of his sorry little life at Gitmo.
He was cleaning his mouse and it discharged by accident.
You need to re-read lady’s post. It is dripping with sarcasm, not criticism of the President.
I honestly don’t think McClellan is intelligent enough to know the difference. At one time, I thought he was a nice enough guy who was in a job way above his pay grade. But he took care of the nice enough guy bit with the publication of this book. I guess that runs in his family. And it’s altogether possible that he honestly doesn’t see what the publisher and the dems gain out of it.
My daughter knows Scott McClellan, he hired her for her first job, right out of college. He was the top assistant to a state senator in Texas. He did all the work, though because the Senator had parkinsons and was getting worse. Scott loved his work and lived Republican politics and life in Austin. He was a UT grad. He played tennis for UT and was involved in alumni activities. He has just given up his whole life for this book.
He won’t be able to go back and face his friends.
What amazes me is that he seems so self satisfied with what he has done. He actually seems more self confident and animated. My daughter described him as being kind of robotic, a real behind the scenes kind of guy. He sure doesn’t look like that now.
THIS Mongo need candy-gram.
I'm being sarcastic. They claim he's a moron, then they claim he fooled them.
Don't know about that, but I do know he went to Washington, and became unemployed when it became clear he was incapable of doing the job he was assigned.
Four Diet Cokes before 1:00. If anyone needs me, I’ll be on the ceiling.
I sincerely apologize then.
Ceiling in the loo I presume....
Deserves repeating...;^)
You can shout all you want, but you'd be better served by refreshing your knowledge of the separation of powers. The president can't declassify any congressional testimony. Only congress can, because transcripts of congressional testimony are the property of congress.
In addition, I don't know if Wilson's testimony is or is not classified. Most congressional testimony is public information. However, the dominant media in this country is not interested in putting out the truth regarding this, or any, Republican president. To the media:
-- Hoover caused the great depression all by himself.
-- Eisenhower was dumb.
-- Nixon was evil incarnate.
-- Reagan was a likeable dunce.
-- George H.W. Bush was a wimpy, out-of-touch patrician.
-- George W. Bush is a combination of all of the above.
And it doesn't help the Republican/conservative cause when even people on our side, like you, blindly, constantly knee-jerk blame the president for everything under the sun. So let me make it bluntly clear: Neither President Bush, nor any president, is responsible for what congress does. Congress is a separate branch of the federal government.

There’s probably a DSM psychiatric term for his condition.
Passive aggressive and then manic stages. I’ll check into it.
