HOW CAN THIS BE!!!!!!???? Oh -- BUSH'S FAULT!!!

I’m self-employed, and depend on a community of customers to be able to spend money on my service. It’s an affluent community. So far I’ve seen very little fallout from the high gas/food prices, housing crash, etc. It’s been a relief. Business is steady and strong.
The gas prices have affected me. I definitely drive less, and slower too. Electric bill is affordable. But $80 fillups are rough. .4-.9 growth is sluggish. How much of that is gas related. Will gas prices ever come down?
And deeply saddened.
