Very interesting!
Scottie has a bunch of TV appearances lineds up—let’s see how this plays out.
This quisling sounds like he is being blackmailed, which would be a plausible explanation for his sudden turn to the dark side.
McClellan is also being deemed THE DEFENDER, not Bush and EVERYONE ELSE ALL PAINTED WITH MCCLELLAN'S SAME BRUSH STROKE.
VIDEO in part without the feel of the total environment of the show. McClellan was also being Upstaged by Idol fans waiting for the Davids to appear and Sex In the City promos were upcoming. They may be more Idol fans then there are McClellan interview fans.
However, Curry kept true to form with her short quip on McClellan. Had to appease the fan base, I guess.
McClellan did praise his publisher (wish I could remember the words, as I laughed). Those same words (?) might come back to haunt him, I thought.
He was not asked why after his leave from Press secretary he later was interviewed and showed no moral dilemma at that time.
Ari did say he had not seen Scott for over a year socially, they had intended to have lunch or breakfast (social situation involving food, "I'll call ya sometime"..scenario) etc; so maybe Scott McClellan felt "dumped". A Woman scorned??
Keith Olbermann, with whom he will also appear, will most likely attempt to . Meet the Press could be most interesting.
Press Briefing McClellan 2003, Re:Leaks
McClellan also blames the Liberal Media:
The collapse of the administration's rationales for war, which became apparent months after our invasion, should never have come as such a surprise. . . . In this case, the "liberal media" didn't live up to its reputation. If it had, the country would have been better served.
"Just consider how remarkable that is. George Bush's own Press Secretary criticizes the American media for being "too deferential" to the Government," writes Glenn Greenwald for Salon.com.
I think McClellan has P$$$ed off everyone to some degree, well; except his publisher, his "handlers" and those that "need to believe".
Employment in the future? Loyalty always a factor. Unless a job, for example, at MSNBC as an ongoing "expert" contributor..hmmmm. Everyone else does it.
