I think you misunderstood my post. Yes I do know that stuff about Barr and think he’s just being an attention whore here.

No I won’t like Obama better, but I am not prepared to put the GOP back into the hands of the Rockefeller Republicans to keep Barry out.
Well, why don’t you just go ahead and vote democrat? You seem to prefer Obama over McCain so vote your principals.

Because there are conservatives and independents who believed they had no real alternative but to hold their noses and vote for McCain. Now, they can — with a clear conscience — vote for an alternative. Barr has the potential of doing for McCain what Ross Perot did for George Bush I: i.e., throw the election to a pretender. As Perot did in ‘92, Barr will take votes away from the Republican, not the Democrat.
Do you really think that Barr will be allowed to even come to the debates (let alone participate)??
Have you thought about the possibility that if Barack is the Marxist some of us think him to be, this could be the last “free” election?
Duncan Hunter was not allowed to participate in the last debate or two, so I’m not counting on anything. The msn rules what ever is expedient for their cause and gave up even pretending to be nonbiased long ago. So, to answer your question...who knows??
I don’t want either McCain or Obama, but I’m not willing to vote for the rightwind Democrat McCain...what’s the point?
Obama will give us three Ruth Bader Ginsburgs and McCain will give us three David Souters...not enough difference between them to matter.

Hold your horse, Hopalong. Tell me where in my comment I said I’d vote for Barr, or anyone, for that matter! I live in Illinois. The Magic Mulatto will carry Illinois in a landslide. I will, indeed, hold my nose and vote for McCain. But, in all candor, it would not make a whit of difference if I voted for McCain, Barr, Ron Paul, or the man in the moon. Obambi has a lock on Illinois’ electoral votes.

Sure. How do you think McCain supporters will react when voting down ballot, after hearing McCain trashed, in many cases by "conservatives" who are embracing the Bob Barr/Ron Paul foreign policy positions?
