Seeking a balance between outreach and enforcement, Miami is launching a nearly $1 million crime-fighting initiative in Overtown that will mix police patrols, video cameras -- and suit-and-tie wearing Muslims.
The stepped-up policing seeks to deter would-be lawbreakers without making Overtown residents feel ''invaded,'' in the words of Miami Commissioner Michelle Spence-Jones.
Which is where the Muslims come in.
Along with budgeting hundreds of thousands of dollars for increased police patrols and the installation of surveillance cameras, Miami is spending $150,000 on a ''Peacemakers'' pilot program run by a nonprofit with ties to the Nation of Islam.

They’d be better off letting the police do their jobs. I find it interesting that the police in my day, had no trouble handling criminals. They didn’t need muslims to tell them what to do.
Stoning dogs as well, smashing liquor stores, no pork allowed in stores, sharia law to be the governning law and on and on, what an easy invasion Islam is waging and winning.
No state sponsorship of religion here. Islam, as it comes from their Quran, is not a religion. It’s a totalitarian death cult masquerading as a religion. ACLU’s cool with that.
Wonder if they’ll be busting up liquor stores and gunning down investigative reporters like the group out in Oakland.

I seem to remember the NOI being used in the same capacity in another major city about a decade or two ago. Can’t remember where or what the outcome was.
It would never happen.
Now an official AMERICAN government entity is interacting in a totally inappropriate fashion with a blatantly anti-white and anti-Semitic organization in a quasi-governmental manner.

I recall that, too...They were praised for “cleaning up” drug dealings in the projects...I *think* it was Chicago, or certain areas in the Chicago area, but I really don’t remember...This was circa late 1980s/early 1990s IIRC.
