Old movies are valuable for many reasons, not the least of which is that they can provide a glimpse of American culture during a certain period. Just as fascinating as the movie plots themselves, though, are the stories about the movie.
Once upon a time, two famous brothers were accused of "warmongering" by a Senate subcommittee - and, no, they were not George and Jeb Bush. They were Harry and Jack Warner, the founders of Warner Bros. studios.
