But as a former NRA safety Instructor, words escape me that you appear to not recognize the gun safety issues not to mention the bad parenting skills.......

My 11th birthday present was a shotgun, and, by the age of 12 I owned several handguns. However...I have never considered "under my pillow" to be a safe place for a loaded weapon.

Of course, as far back as I can remember, my parents constantly pounded the rules of firearms safety into my young skull...
