I’ll bet it is the right Charles W. Payne and that he was in the Navy, never got anywhere near a German Extermination Camp, and probably turns out to be a cook on one of the Navy boats.

OK, then it must be what Obama meant was that:

His great uncle, not his uncle, whose name is Charles T. Paine, but listed in his genealogy as Charles W. Payne, freed what he thought was Auschwitz, but really was Buchenwald, even though both C. W. Payne’s and C. T. Payne’s enlistment records show that they both enlisted in the Navy right after Pearl Harbor, well that is a year after Pearl Harbor, to protect our 57 states.
