The Democrats flip flop over this every presidential election. In 1992 Bush's military service was not of issue and Bill Clinton's draft dodging was downplayed in the MSM. In 1996 Dole's military service was not of issue and Bill Clinton's draft dodging was downplayed in the MSM. In 2000 Gore's military service (and fine gun handling skillz) was contrasted against Bush's National Guard service. In 2004 Kerry's "heroic" military service was contrasted against Bush's possible AWOL activity (with no mention of the treasonous activities of Kerry immediately after his service, where he lied to Congress, met to negotiate with the enemy, and was a member of an organization that plotted to assassinate elected members of Congress). AND the Democrats had the b*lls to stand Kerry shoulder to shoulder with Clinton on the stump and say that Bush didn't have the military experience or honesty to be President. And this time around they are saying that years of captivity in a POW camp means you "didn't really" see the war. Also that you may have mental issues that could affect your leadership.
