Wow! If this is the first time that most of us thought of him as a potential Vice Presidential candidate than his chances from McCain are slim to none. I like Hunter ALOT and was my first choice...yes Romney was always second choice. But the question McCain is asking himself is can Hunter give him the state of California and that is a probable no. I am sure that is one of the reasons we do not hear his name out there.

I don’t think it’s about delivering a state, in the case of a proposed McCain/Hunter ticket.

The two wouldn’t be able to combine into a team. On several issues, but especially illegal immgration. Polar opposites.

Oh, and let’s see where DH stands on McCain’s “global warming cap and trade” garbage. The supposed signature issue of a McCain presidency.

How about closing Guantanamo?

Tagging your frontliners in the WOT with the “torture” label.

Trade?

Think about it. DH would make the best President imaginable if something happened to a President McCain.

The trouble for McCain is that DH should be where McCain is right now and be representing the Republican wing of the Republican party as its presidential nominee. And that is painfully obvious.

So, no VP slot for DH.
