My guess is that the donation to a school is a tax write off as a charitable donation, but they couldn’t do that with a homeschool.

So they lose $500,000 worth of business in order to get a $5000 deduction? Who does their math? If the boycott was 100% successful,( I always assume most people are just talk), it could be much more than $500k. If 4 million home schoolers didn’t buy 1 sub for $5 this year, thats $20 million. Add to that any sympathizers, and you get a pretty big number. Now your talking real money.
