Was Hussain’s uncle black or white?

Presumably white, since no Kenyans fought in US uniform in WWII - the problem is that his mother, Stanley Dunham, was an only child and she was born during WWII.

It was physically impossible for his grandparents to have had any children old enough to have fought in WWII.

So whatever relative he's talking about, it isn't an uncle but some more distant relation who was perhaps called an uncle.
