Make that three times. Under the present scheme you have to check to see if you come under that Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT).

I think you are forgetting about the AMT. In many cases, you would have to calculate your taxes 3 times. BTW, if you like a parallel flat tax system, you should love the AMT.
