Muslim immigrants sue CIS for delays in citizenship process

ORLANDO, Fla. - For three years and three months, Ali Hussain has waited to become a U.S. Citizen.

On Thursday, his wait was over - but not before he sued the federal government.

In February, Hussain and 24 other Muslims joined a statewide lawsuit against Citizenship and Immigration Services and the FBI for what they called unusually lengthy delays in processing their citizenship applications. Some waited as long as five years.

''The lawsuit helped my application. I have been waiting so long,'' said Hussain, an Orlando machinist from Iraq.

In a post Sept. 11 era of fingerprinting and thorough background checks, legal action is also becoming part of the naturalization process, say some area attorneys.

''These lawsuits bring attention to the government that (processing delays) is a big problem,'' said Shahzad Ahmed, an Orlando attorney who represents several Muslim clients.

Of the seven Central Florida plaintiffs in the statewide lawsuit, five have since become U.S. Citizens.

Four plaintiffs were sworn in as citizens Thursday at the Orange County Convention Center, including Hussain and his brother, Aso Hussain, a graphic art student at Valencia Community College.

When I first saw this headline, I thought “Why would anybody want to sue the Confederation of Independent States (Former Soviet Union) for citizenship?”

On several levels, it would be preferable if that were the case... :)

Nominee for the longest post ever:

My friend said it best...

Fitzgerald: The immigrant’s bad faith

In February, Hussain and 24 other Muslims joined a statewide lawsuit against Citizenship and Immigration Services and the FBI for what they called unusually lengthy delays in processing their citizenship applications. Some waited as long as five years.
‘’The lawsuit helped my application. I have been waiting so long,’’ said Hussain, an Orlando machinist from Iraq. — from this article

Why is Hussain, a “machinist from Iraq,” here in the United States? If he were ever a “refugee” he is a refugee no longer. He has no special skills that are desperately needed in this country. Why isn’t he back home, working hard to build the new Iraq? If he is a Shi’a Arab, then Shi’a Arabs have, thanks to the American invasion, inherited Iraq, or at least Baghdad and all points south, including the major oilfields. If he is a Sunni (not everyone named “Hussain” need be a Shi’a) he has all of the area west and north of Baghdad, save where the Kurds now run things.

Why is he here? Is he here because he must be here to avoid persecution? From Muslim countries, the only justified immigration should be that of non-Muslims. They are the ones who have a legitimate case to be here to avoid persecution. Does Hussain, the machinist from Iraq, fully support the American Constitution? Does he even understand its contents? Or is such understanding no longer necessary in order to obtain American citizenship?

Hussain, machinist from Iraq, by his lawsuit demonstrates worrisome bad faith already at this initial stage. For if he thinks “three years and two months” is a long time to wait for the high privilege of becoming an American citizen, and if he dares to start a lawsuit about it, his attitude is entirely the wrong one. Does he really not know how long people wait for citizenship, in this and many other countries? I know people born in Italy, raised in Italy, but who never acquired Italian citizenship. And now, when they return, they have to wait years just for the damned “permesso di soggiorno.”

Can this “new American” not understand why it is — can anyone in his right mind not understand why it is — that certain background checks might have to be made? Can he not understand why this might have to be done on someone, for god’s sake, from Iraq? Is that really all that hard to figure out?

Or why, given all that has happened, and all that is likely to happen, and all that we Americans can see happening in all the countries of Western Europe, is it really all that hard to figure out why such background checks would be needed? In Western Europe, foolishly and with criminal negligence, ruling elites have permitted the large-scale immigration of Muslims. They pose the same problems no matter what Infidel country they end up in. And among all the vast and various groups of immigrants, they present — they uniquely present — certain problems that show no signs of going away. They will not go away because they emanate not from “poverty” nor from any other external cause, but rather, from the texts, tenets, attitudes, and atmospherics of Islam.

And those texts and tenets flatly contradict the spirit and letter of the American Constitution, and the American Republic. And this contradiction cannot be ignored. Indeed, it should not be ignored by those whose duty it is to make sure that we do not admit people who are incapable of true and permanent integration with our legal and political institutions, but whose inculcated duty it is to change those political and legal institutions, so that all obstacles to the spread, and dominance, of Islam, are removed. The fact that not all of them will assume or fulfill that duty is slim consolation, for minds can change, and do. Look at Maher Hawash. Look at the Lackawanna Six.

I’m amazed that people such as Hussain, machinist from Iraq, are granted citizenship. One hopes that those in the INS who are permitting such things will be investigated by members of Congress. This can’t go on. Not at a high level of immigration, and not at a low level.

Note: Cruel to some maybe. Check out this comment:

Citizenship means exactly nothing to all the actors in this tragic play.

Citizenship means nothing to Muslims, who know by Allah’s word that they rightfully own the entire planet already. Muslims know that our immigration laws and our national borders, as just yet more manifestations of infidel laws and societal organization, have no validity, since only Islamic law is to be respected. Muslims know that immigration laws and national borders are just impediments to the spread of Islam to be cleverly circumvented by taqiyya, by kitman, by intimidation (legal and otherwise), by threats of violence, or by real violence, as part of their everyday jihadic duty. Muslims know that their loyalty is owed to the Ummah alone, and not to any infidel entity—such as to the host nation, or to the governing Constitution—save outwardly for deceptive purposes, until their numbers are large enough and they are strong enough to pull off the mask and then force their will on the rest of us. As they deconstruct our civilization from within, Muslims know they are right to do this because they are the Supreme Ones, having the special knowledge and wisdom that only they possess, and that the unsavory, benighted people they seek to dominate are too mean-spirited, dumb, and ingnorant to know what is good for them.

Citizenship means nothing to the leftist, cosmospolitan bureaucrats of government, who know by Marxist theory that global socialism with centralized planning should rightfully control the entire planet. Leftists know that our immigration laws and our national borders, as just yet more manifestations of obsolete Christian-based laws and societal organization, have no validity, since only global, secular law is to be respected. Leftists know that immigration laws and national borders are just impediments to the spread of socialism to be cleverly circumvented by lying, by word games, by intimidation (legal and otherwise), by threats of punishment, or by real punishment, as part of their everyday progressive duty. Leftists know that their loyalty is owed to the global cosmopolitan Community of Man alone, and not to any traditional entity—such as to any nation state, or to a governing Constitution—save outwardly for deceptive purposes, until their numbers are large enough and they are strong enough to pull off the mask and then force their will on the rest of us. As they deconstruct our civilization from within, leftists know they are right to do this because they are the Supreme Ones, having the special knowledge and wisdom that only they possess, and that the unsavory, benighted people they seek to dominate are too mean-spirited, dumb, and ingnorant to know what is good for them.

Citizenship means nothing to the global businessmen, who know by capitalist theory that international markets should rightfully control the entire planet. Global businessmen know that our immigration laws and our national borders, as just yet more manifestations of obsolete economic structures and societal organization, have no validity, since only global, international commerce is to be respected. Global businessmen know that trade laws and national borders are just impediments to free commerce and movement of the labor supply to be cleverly circumvented by lying, by marketing word games, by intimidation (legal and otherwise), by phony economic rewards and punishments (kickbacks and bribes), or by real economic rewards and punishments, as part of their everyday managerial duty. Global businessmen know that their loyalty is owed to the Investors alone, and not to any traditional entity—such as to any nation state, or to a governing Constitution—save outwardly for deceptive purposes, until their numbers are large enough and they are strong enough to pull off the mask and then force their will on the rest of us. As they deconstruct our economy from within, global businessmen know they are right to do this because they are the Supreme Ones, having the special knowledge and wisdom that only they possess, and that the unsavory, benighted people they seek to dominate are too mean-spirited, dumb, and ingnorant to know what is good for them.

I will save the ink and not go through the same exercise with academics, but the same pattern is evident. And the academics, who probably owe the most to our nation for their privileged position in society, are the ones least likely to respect their citizenship, as they collectively preach a disdainful contempt for our civilization at every opportunity while looking down on the rest of us from their dreamy perch on Mount Olympus.

(God bless his mother, I prefer the Ferdinand and Isabella plan, on 9-12 they would have been deported... let’s just say I was a ‘I have Paki, Yemeni, Somali friend I work with’, type of person; but I work in education advocacy and verification of SSNs/status re: welfare... an oxymoron in a sanctuary city, they don’t listen. If I told you the things that are going on... you wouldn’t believe it, don’t get me started on the courts. They have to go, seriously, this is a political system, it doesn’t mix with democracy... that is all)

Oh... and Mr. UN Race Investigator, if you see this post,
there are some clitorectomies, honor killings and killing of Christians in your hometown of Senegal that have to be checked out, along with almost every ‘human rights’ member’s country at the UN. Gays still swinging in Iran, schoolgirls and teachers still getting beheaded in Indonesia, Africans getting necklaced in Zimbabwe, Somalis still wiping out Ethopians, people still starving in Burma, honor killing in England (as well as eight single feet washing up, I guess the hands didn’t make it), Indians still getting blown up, Palis still firing rockets, people still starving in Burma, etc.. My bad, you’re a muslim, and only see the crusaders and Jews as bad guys... and the Danes/UK/France.
