This might be a restaurant: note the uniforms:

Looks like high F-3/ low F-4, high fours and fives take the destruction with them and drop it far away.

This was the forecast from this morning from Meterological Madness Blog at Accuweather.com .

1. The cold front coming across the northern Plains will focus severe storms across eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin into Iowa. The right rear of the jet will be over that area this afternoon. Skies are becoming sunny and dew points are coming up into the 60s and that will lead to an increase in the instability by late afternoon. I expect super-cell storms to develop along the front with the main threat being wind damage, large hail and also tornadoes. This includes Minneapolis, La Crosse and Des Moines.

2. Storms will develop across west-central Kansas along the dry line this afternoon. Dew points in the 70s are pooling close to the dry line and a jet max coming across the Rockies will enhance vertical motions. The storms will start off as super cells with tornadoes, but form into an MCS or Mesoscale Convective Complex that will run east along the cold front across northern Kansas, northern Missouri tonight and early Monday, then Illinois into Indiana on Monday. Wind damage and hail will be the primary threat as the complex of storms move east.

If this doesn’t make my point, nothing will.

I live in Minnesota near the areas affected by the tornadoes. I couldn’t find any local chat and came here.

I used the search function and couldn’t find anything. I’m glad this was in breaking news! :)

I have people in Mayfield, KY.

Looks like a nasty cell is heading their way.

Prayers up for everyone affected.

There have been numerous reports of debris from Iowa falling in Wisconsin. That counts as “far away.”

It sounds like the tornado that hit Stoughton, WI and dropped debris in Milwaukee. Very ugly.

I’ve never understood why the talk show thread is “breaking news.” If someone makes a big statement, yes, but generally, that is more or less political chat.
