Thanks. I can’t pull it up on search and my ping keeps disappearing and then coming back. I’m concerned my DILs mother may be near. I can’t remember her town though. That Parker.....sure sounds familar though.

By the way...the only way I found the thread was backing out of FR. I had started to post something to you but changed my mind. The draft was still there.

The Freepers who have important and updated information to post can’t find it.

Updated from wcco: [Snippet] HUGO, Minn. (AP) ― Severe thunderstorms packing large hail and possible tornadoes rumbled across the nation's midsection on Sunday, killing at least one person and damaging dozens of homes. A 2-year-old child was killed and at least eight others were injured after a swift storm blew through the St. Paul suburb of Hugo, destroying dozens homes, Mayor Fran Miron said. The child who died had a sibling who was critically injured and taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, and the parents also were hospitalized with injuries sustained in the family home, Washington County Sheriff Bill Hutton said.

This thread and posts here keep disappearing and then reappering for me too. What’s up, I wonder? People have lost their lives and their homes. This is an important story!

Reports of six dead in Iowa...

I think it’s just a FR glitch. I also have some posts on a horse thread that keep coming in and out too. Bad timing though, huh?

This may be a contrast enhanced image of the Hugo Minnesota Twister. At least F3 with estimates up to strong F4 by storm observers. Photo from AndrewMN Tornadovideos.net.

2 confirmed fatalities, 3 unconfirmed in Parkersburg, IA - 15 or more injured taken to Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, IA...the Parkersburg tornado was on the ground for as long as 4 hours...was up to a mile wide at times...finally dissipated near Dubuque for short time, then the same storm was indicating a tornado near Galena, IL.

We’re having the same problem over on the Undead Thread, so it’s not just here.
If that’s any comfort.

That’s just flat out scary.
I’d rather live here in earthquake country.

We had a tornado warning for just west of us but it never arrived at our house. We've had some fairly heavy rain. My daughter is driving right now heading south in northern Iowa on I 35. We're staying in contact by cell phone. I told her it is not realistic to expect to get home tonight.
They've had photos of Parkersburg, IA on TV. It looks pretty much leveled.
To: Red_Devil 232
The storm that hit Parkersburg is sparking radar-indicated warnings still in Illinois....plus, there are more storms developing over the same area and dropping more hail, heavy rains causing flooding, and more tornadoes.
