My Spanish is rusty, but I think that “sera” means “will be”
not “would be”.

So, Obama is predicting a win here, not asking for the vote.

If he had wanted “would be” I think it should have read “seria”

Any native Spanish speakers or well versed ones out there who can let me know about this?
