I might have stayed in his motel, or apartments! I knew most of them.

Go ahead and get the books, they are in every used paperback store anywhere. You’ll enjoy them.

The last was written circa 1984, when John D. passed away.

Sorry, I have no idea about Dearborn. As for this area, I see very few lawn signs or bumperstickers. THe ones I do see are mostly Obama, some Hillary. I can’t remember even seeing anything for McCain. Ron Paul has some.

Nearly everyone I talk to, either Democrat or Republican, are disgusted with the choices this election. I think we will see the lowest voter turnout in history.

hiredhand says: “The dog is dead....the fleas are leaving!”

So true.

The GOP pet cemetery is going to need a lot of extra room after November.

If only I had born a vulture, instead of a flea.

I'm with you! But I am what I am, and try as I do to change, not much happens!

Having said that though, I know when my "dog" is dead, and I'm not sticking around waiting to starve from trying to live on the back of a dead dog!

hhmm let’s rcap shall we???

three months ago the NYSlimes was reporting about a possible affair McCain was having with an intern....turned out to be BS....

two months ago the NYSlimes questioned McCain’s validity as a presidential candidate since he was born on a US naval base outside the country.....turned out to be BS....

a month ago the NYSlimes gathered up surgeons who looked at pictures yet never examined McCain to claim his former melenoma still poses a serious health risk....turned out to be BS....

maybe I’m paranoid but I sense a trend...

McCain has been a FRAUD from the get go!

Remember when his campaign was DOA??? No money, no primaries won, not popular....

Bingo Presto.... The ENEMEDIA declares him the nom... and the republican lemmings go scrambling for the cliff!

There are a few things I really admire about the man. However there are more and more serious things that prevent my conscience from pulling a lever for him.

I don't think the comparison to Benedict Arnold is quite the right comparison.

He claims to have the best interests of the country at heart, and perhaps he does. All be it he is wrong headed and very stubborn about his opinions. He also tends to think government level decision-making should be handled in Washington, where they “know” better.

I would be tempted to compare him to Henry Lee, Alexander Hamilton, or Gates. Mainly because they thought they knew better even when they were wrong, and would not be convinced otherwise.

I was hoping a Andrew Jackson, John Sevier, or Sam Houston type would emerge for this election. Instead, all I see is Larry, Moe, and Curly. You can pick which is which since it hardly seems to matter.
