At first I thought “there’s no way this is in the comPost”, but then you read the article and realize it’s a hit on the “vast right wing conspiracy” getting ready to swiftboat Barak Hussein.
The irony is the BDS fools in the MSM think they will clue everyone into what is going on. In fact other than a few BDS loons like themselves who would always vote for Obama, anyone who reads those allegations would pause before voting for Obama.
And of course if the were any evidence at all that a GOP candidate at ANY level:
1. associated with one of the Birmingham bombing or say the bombing of an abortion clinic EVEN IF THE CANDIDATE WERE SO YOUNG it was when he was 10 or less or not even born,
2. was mentered by a white separatist,
3. launched his senate campaign from the home of the person or persons described in point 1 above,
4. while serving as a state senator [or not] was a member of a national socialist front group,
5. had association so dodgy they would have trouble getting a security clearance,
6. and gave reason to doubt his loyalty to the beltway group think,
IT WOULD BE VIEWED AS DISQUALIFYING by the MSM. And for some, really many, of 1-6 it is right that it would be disqualifying. Such associations are out of the mainstream of US politics.
The left of course is constantly trying to move the mainstream further and further left. But the public resists. The MSM prints a story like this thinking they are cluing everyone in, but to their dismay come November all they did was raise more doubt in the minds of the US public.
Yes, it’s just Dana Milquetoast trying to perform some inoculation on behalf of Obama. I was surprised that Dana actually relayed some of the info (rather than just leaving it vague) because to an intelligent and impartial reader (not Dana!) it won’t look so irrelevant or ridiculous. When you outline Obama’s associations it is clear he is either a dedicated far-left pseudo-revolutionary twit or else an enthusiastic fellow-traveler.
