Well, there is indeed very good reason to doubt his “loyalty to the United States.” If one reads “Dreams from My Father”, ponders that for 20 years he thought Wright's paranoid anti-US ravings unremarkable, recall that he launched his political career at the feet of an unrepentant America-hating terrorist, remember that he married a woman who thinks this is a “mean” country of which she can only now be tentatively “proud” because it might put her sour, angry persona in the White House, and knows he said we have to eat and drive less because foreigners would like us to, what other conclusion could we reach?

When I see an article by Dana Milbank, I normally don’t read it period as I know it will be Left-biased-BS. I usually just read the comments of my bretheren at FR for the humor.

Might as well read Dowd, or Helen Thomas as to read Milbank.

The irony is the BDS fools in the MSM think they will clue everyone into what is going on. In fact other than a few BDS loons like themselves who would always vote for Obama, anyone who reads those allegations would pause before voting for Obama.

And of course if the were any evidence at all that a GOP candidate at ANY level:

1. associated with one of the Birmingham bombing or say the bombing of an abortion clinic EVEN IF THE CANDIDATE WERE SO YOUNG it was when he was 10 or less or not even born,

2. was mentered by a white separatist,

3. launched his senate campaign from the home of the person or persons described in point 1 above,

4. while serving as a state senator [or not] was a member of a national socialist front group,

5. had association so dodgy they would have trouble getting a security clearance,

6. and gave reason to doubt his loyalty to the beltway group think,

IT WOULD BE VIEWED AS DISQUALIFYING by the MSM. And for some, really many, of 1-6 it is right that it would be disqualifying. Such associations are out of the mainstream of US politics.

The left of course is constantly trying to move the mainstream further and further left. But the public resists. The MSM prints a story like this thinking they are cluing everyone in, but to their dismay come November all they did was raise more doubt in the minds of the US public.

Yes, it’s just Dana Milquetoast trying to perform some inoculation on behalf of Obama. I was surprised that Dana actually relayed some of the info (rather than just leaving it vague) because to an intelligent and impartial reader (not Dana!) it won’t look so irrelevant or ridiculous. When you outline Obama’s associations it is clear he is either a dedicated far-left pseudo-revolutionary twit or else an enthusiastic fellow-traveler.

• That he was mentored in high school by a member of the Soviet-controlled Communist Party. — His name was Frank Marshall Davis and Obama writes of his long and close relationship with him in “Dreams.”

• That he launched his Illinois state Senate campaign in the home of a terrorist and a killer. — Well, he did! In 1995, during Obama’s first run, Bill Ayers hosted a “Get to Know Obama” at his home.

• That while serving as a state senator, he was a member of a socialist front group. — During his run, Obama receives the endorsement of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) for the Illinois state senate seat — Obama himself was an associate of the Chicago branch of the DSA.

• That his affiliations are so dodgy that he would have trouble getting a government security clearance. — as an ex-member of the US Army, Mlitary Intelligence, Counter Intelligence, and charged with conducting personal background investigations, I can tell you that every red flag in the book would go off if Obama was ever subjected to a BI.

• That there is reason to doubt his “loyalty to the United States.” — I guess thr Post believes there is ABSOLUTELY no reason to doubt his loyalty -- none -- zero -- zilch.

The media is so far up Obama’s ass they can't be objective about this guy.
