Our country has survived a civil war, a great depression, two world wars, 9/11, and Jimmy Carter. I seriously doubt that a Secretary of State’s confusion about the term “mother-in-law” will mean the end of America.

Sheesh.

America has she has been is already gone. Homosexuality is perfectly normal behavior to be celebrated according to governmental officials. Makes me sick. Apparently you disagree and that is (still) your right.

FYI Only George W Bush was elected to office, not Jenna, not Laura. They have diddly-squat to do with running the country.

Neither is HW Bush anymore. But he still gave Ted Kennedy his self-named service award 3 days after Kennedy called his son the President a liar on the floor of the Senate. We need to stop calling them "classy" and "gentlemen", etc. They are chumps for liberals, and always have been.

Last night we went to the movies...

..Before the main feature, there was a 'Coke' commercial, this one featuring a touchy/feel good love fest between Bill Frist and James Carville....

Brought to home how manipulated WE THE PEOPLE (especially conservatives) have been by these yahoos who were suppose to be on OUR side, defending OUR principles...

..Disgusting!

One is still permitted to disagree so long as one does not work for the government or, basically, any publicly traded company.

Same-sex "marriage" is illegal in Texas, anyway. Sorry.

Sadly, just because the people voted it illegal - no longer means it's illegal.

Ask California.

Where Judges now decide law instead of the people.

Isnt this just another case of an interviewer with an axe to grind crossing a line to score points and the Republican ( if only by blood as some are assuming) simply being polite?

No surprise here. Bush has been strangely silent on the issue of ritual sodomite nuptual bliss. Even though I do NOT want this issue to come under the jurisdiction of the federales, Bush does have a role to play as a self-described Christian, a husband and a father. I can’t imagine any conservative Christian leader of national prominence NOT publicly rebuking their own son or daughter for explicitly supporting such an abomination.
