I was in Portland last summer. It's absolutely the most gorgeous place on earth but we saw only one American flag flying our whole time there. Here in the north Dallas 'burbs, there are 15 from my home to work. I'm sure that we missed seeing some flags in Portland and the surrounding areas, but the lack of flags -- and churches -- was noticeable.
There were 9 flags flying on my street today here in Farmers Branch. There will be more this weekend.
