In all fairness to Sen. Obama, the man cannot be held responsible for those who decide to throw their support his way. But if that support is unwelcome--which is to say, if the Illinois senator views such people as unacceptably outside the mainstream, and in possession of ideas that are utterly repellent--he has a moral duty to renounce and reject their support. Otherwise, he looks suspiciously like a fellow traveler.

And this also begs the question: What, exactly, do Marxists see in Sen. Obama that they find so congenial to their own views? It does seem like a question worth exploring.

The Democrats are going to lose states they never dreamed of losing -- definitely PA, WI, MI; possibly MN (if he takes Pawlenty, and if Franken turns off more independents), and WA.

MI is very interesting -- Granholm shafted business with that last tax rewrite (2x-4x prior bills), and Obama can't visit Detroit without getting stuck to Mayor Biggie. That's exactly why their City Council is begging Granholm on bended knee to remove the thugee. But she's beholden to Madame Cankles, so watch and see -- she won't remove him, precisely to cost Barry the state.
